Our structure

Victim Support is an independent incorporated society with 30 Local Group Committees and a governing body made up of representatives from these committees. We have a workforce of around 639 volunteers and 120 paid staff based at 62 offices across New Zealand including National Office and 11 service delivery areas – nine geographical, and two specialist services encompassing our response to suicide and homicide.

Our geographical areas are Northland / Waitemata, Auckland, Counties Manakau, Waikato, Bay of Plenty / Eastern, Central, Wellington, Canterbury / Tasman, and Southern. We are an independent organisation that works closely with the police, so it is beneficial that our offices are located within police stations, with the National Office in Police National Headquarters in Wellington.
