In this issue

This June, Victim Support rolled out our specialist Homicide Support Worker Programme nationwide, providing greater access to support for victims of homicide to be safe and participate in the justice process. This issue profiles three new members of the team and the Homicide Advisory Group, with whom we work closely to guide us in our work to support homicide victims.

Our feature article is a personal account from a witness about the court process. We have also re-published the ‘Being a witness’ section from the Ministry of Justice Victim’s Information Sheet and provided some information on the financial assistance available to support witnesses through the court process.
