Victim Support is Good in the Hood

Victim Support is Good in the Hood

Good in the Hood is the ultimate in keeping it local and being charitable.

Instead of someone in head office deciding what great charitable organisation to support, Z’s people on the ground choose the groups they’d like to get behind.

This year, 38 Z service stations throughout the country have specifically chosen to help Victim Support and raise funds to support victims of crime and trauma in their communities.

Various charity groups will have a voting ‘bin’ in store throughout September which customers can use to deposit a token obtained with each purchase. In this way they vote for the community group of their choice.

Victim Support stands to get a share of the $4,000 available from each of these 37 stations.  It also gives us the opportunity to have our name – and some of our friendly local faces! – out there in Z stations all around New Zealand.

If there’s a Z station in the area that is supporting Victim Support, how about popping in there to fill up, and vote for Victim Support?  How much we get depends on how many votes we get!

Each visit to a participating Z station is an opportunity to cast a vote for the kind of world you want to live in. So spread the word to friends and colleagues – fill up, shop and vote at the ‘Victim Support Z stations’.

Voting for Good in the Hood 2019 is happening throughout September 2019!
